the drought in ethiopia has left millions of people without enough food, especially children. by sending a world food programme e-card this holiday season, you can help feed and nurture hope among ethiopian children, restore land and livelihoods and provide a better future for ethiopian women. - united-nations

Clarins and FEED Together Embark On A Global Journey
During New York Fashion Week in February, newspapers and fashion magazines were abuzz with the presence of “the Clarins girls”—the young and beautiful Virginie, Claire, and Jenna Courtin-Clarins, whose family founded the cosmetics company. They attended some shows, but the real purpose of their visit was to meet with Lauren Bush about Clarins’s collaboration with FEED Projects, the nonprofit organization that has raised more than $6 million for the United Nations World Food Program since Bush co-founded it, in 2007.
The FEED 15 Clarins pouch, available at Nordstrom beginning in July, has two noble goals: feeding underprivileged children and keeping the women who buy the bag beautiful. The $30 organic-cotton pouch, lined with recycled nylon, contains Clarins best-sellers: Moisture-Rich Body Lotion, Hand and Nail Treatment Cream, and Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector. Best of all, the proceeds from each bag go to meals for 15 children. The end goal of the project is to reach a million children over the course of two years.
“Social responsibility is part of the DNA of Clarins,” said Bush. “We’re connecting the overwhelming cause of world hunger to individuals who want to give back, who also happen to be individuals who are shopping and want to treat themselves. Great skin care only sweetens the deal.” - from Vanity Fair: The Beauty Blog
